Computex 2023 runs from May 29 through June 2 in Taipei, Taiwan, and it is easily the biggest computing event of the year with every major player attending the event.
Unlike the past few years, when Computex was either online only or, like Computex 2022, much more limited as an in-person event, Computex 2023 is a “return to normal” event, and it is expected to be as large as previous events pre-Covid.
TechRadar is on the ground this year reporting on all the latest news, announcements, and product showcases from industry titans like AMD, Nvidia, Asus, MSI, and many more.
We’re covering everything from Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang’s opening keynote to the wild, weird, and just plain cool. Companies like Gigabyte, MSI, and Asus are headquartered in Taiwan, so we anticipate that there will be a huge presence at the event from these companies, and we can’t wait to dig into everything they have to show off.

Computex 2023 Date
Computex 2023 officially kicked off on May 29, 2023, and runs through June 2 (Taiwan time). The conference opened with a keynote address by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.
We expect other manufacturers to announce new products throughout the week from big Taiwanese companies such as Asus, Acer, MSI, and Gigabyte.

We try Cougar’s NxSys Aero gaming chair with built-in fans
Our computing editor Michelle Rae Uy took a well-earned break (for a few minutes, at least) and tried out the Cougar NxSys Aero at Computex 2023, a comfy gaming chair with a built-in fan that’s designed to cool gamers while they play.
It’s a neat idea, and worked well enough to cool Michelle down even with the intense heat of a Taiwanese summer, and the price tag isn’t too high either.
Acer Predator Triton 16 takes on the thin and light gaming laptop genre
We’ve had hands-on time with the Acer Predator Triton 16, a new thin and light laptop that aims to prove that gaming laptops don’t have to be big and bulky.
From what we’ve seen so far, this looks like it could be a great gaming laptop, but with a price tag starting at $1,799.99 / €2,299 (about £1,500 / AU$2,700), it still has a lot to prove. Stay tuned for our full review later this year.
This water-cooled SSD from XPG is one of the coolest things we’ve seen at Computex
Super-fast PCIe 5.0 SSDs are out in force at Computex 2023, and we’ve been particularly impressed with the water-cooled XPG Project NeonStorm, which is capable of incredible speeds of 14,000 MB/s and 12,000 MB/s read/write respectively.
Keeping the drive cool is an enclosure with cooling liquid, similar to what you find on some GPUs and CPU coolers. Not only does it look cool, but it promises mind-blowing performance, making this a component we really want to slap into our PCs.
MSI branches out from its gaming roots at Computex 2023
While it’s mainly known for gaming laptops, MSI is at Computex showing off its non-gaming lineup, including the MSI Prestige 16 Studio / Evo, which is a powerful laptop aimed at professionals, with Intel Evo certification, which means it’s thin, light and has loads of battery life.
With a 13th gen Intel Core i7 CPU and RTX 4060 GPU, this could be a real MacBook Pro-killer.
7 signs Cooler Master has gone bonkers at Computex 2023
One of the best things about Computex is that it lets companies really go wild and show off some of their more weird and wonderful innovations, and at this year’s show, that’s exactly what Cooler Master has done.

Asus reveals a gorgeous new liquid-cooled GPU
As usual, Asus is a big presence at Computex 2023, and it’s been showing off a range of new gaming products, including monitors, keyboard and more.
But what’s really caught our attention is the Asus Matrix RTX 4090 GPU, which is liquid cooled to eke out the maximum performance of Nvidia’s beastly RTX 4090.
Cooler Master presents the ‘gaming chair reimagined’
Cooler Master has certainly got a lot to show off at Computex 2023, but even so, when it claims it has ‘reimagined’ the gaming chair with the Motion 1, we had to know more.
It comes with haptic feedback for immersive gaming, with the chair vibrating depending on what’s happening on screen, and there’s RGB lighting as well, of course.
We’re not fully convinced haptic feedback in a chair is a great selling point, but hopefully the Motion 1 can be the first gaming chair to make it feel less of a gimmick.
Cooler Master MasterHUB hands-on review
Cooler Master wants to take on Elgato and its popular Stream Deck with the MasterHUB, which we’ve had a play with at Computex 2023.
It makes controlling your stream easy and convenient with a stylish design and plenty of support for popular streaming services for any budding streaming star or influencer.
Corsair introduces iCUE Link to make building your next PC easier
If having to wrangle loads of wires puts you off building your own PC, then Corsair’s new iCue Link will be of interest. Dubbed a ‘smart component ecosystem’, it makes connecting various components such as fans and CPU coolers, incredibly easy with simple cables that should cut down the amount of wires in your PC.
Of course, you’ll need your components to be Corsair, but luckily the company does make very good bits of equipment, so that’s not too bad.
Corsair’s Dominator Titanium DDR5 RAM is the coolest tech we’ve seen so far at Computex 2023
RAM is one of the most important parts of our PCs, but it’s not exactly the most exciting. Evidently, Corsair didn’t get the memo, as its new Dominator Titanium DDR5, which it showed off at Computex, might be the coolest tech we’ve seen at the show so far.
We’ve got up close with it, and not only does it look phenomenal, with a high level of customization, but it also performs like a beast.
MSI partners with Mercedes-AMG Motorsport for a ‘luxury’ laptop experience
MSI and Mercedez-AMG Motorspot have collaborated on a laptop, the Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport, which aims to bring the luxury style and design of Mercedes with the powerful gaming hardware that comes with MSI’s gaming laptops.
While only one laptop from the collaboration has been announced, along with several other MSI laptops, the company has promised “more collaborative products in the future.”
