Let’s talk stocks!

When it comes to stocks, I love them and I hate them. Let me explain: I love stocks because they offer the potential for huge financial gains. If you invest in a good stock and it goes up in value, you can make a lot of money very quickly. I hate stocks because they also offer the potential for huge financial losses.

If you invest in a bad stock and it goes down in value, you can lose a lot of money very quickly. Let’s be real anyone who has tried day trading has probably seen significant losses. Why? Because the SOB doesn’t work and stock trading gurus are the only ones making money selling you BS courses. Trust me! I have traded Stocks, Options, Futures, and FOREX. I have been a professional prop firm futures trader as well.

So why do I continue to invest in stocks, even though I know they can be risky? Because the potential rewards are simply too great to ignore. Sure, I might lose money on a bad investment from time to time. But if I make a good investment, the financial gains can be life-changing.

Day trading: Don’t even think about it!

Stocks can be risky, but the potential rewards are worth it. So, if you’re thinking about investing in stocks, go for it! Just be sure to do your research first and don’t put all your eggs in one basket. And whatever you do, don’t day trade!

Long-term investing can still be dangerous if the company underperforms or goes bankrupt.

However, stocks are still one of the best investment vehicles out there. They offer the potential for large financial rewards and can help you reach your financial goals quicker than other investments.

Here are five reasons not to day trade stocks:

  • You’re more likely to lose money than make money

  • The vast majority of day traders are unsuccessful

  • You can become addicted to the thrill of trading and lose sight of your long-term goals.

  • Day trading requires a lot of time and energy, which could be better spent elsewhere.

  • It’s very stressful and can take a toll on your health. Trust me!

Now long-term investing is a little different scenario. Still thinking about investing in stocks, go for it! Just be sure to do your research first and don’t put all your eggs in one basket. And whatever you do, don’t day trade! Long-term investing can still be dangerous if the company underperforms or goes bankrupt, but stocks are still one of the best investment vehicles out there. They offer the potential for large financial rewards and can help you reach your financial goals quicker than other investments.

My personal investments is just two ETFs

I currently own TQQQ which is 3xQQQ (Super Tech) and a Vanguard ETF VTIP Inflation Bond.

Allocation Weighted VTIP 80% and TQQQ 20%.

As you can see results are not bad and it pays over a 4% dividend yield

What are ETFS?

An exchange-traded fund (ETF) is an investment fund traded on stock exchanges, much like stocks. They are sometimes referred to as “trackers” because they follow an index or benchmark. Investors in ETFs receive dividends and capital gains (or losses) in proportion to their ownership of the fund.

ETFs are safer than single stocks because they are diversified and therefore less risky. However, they still offer the potential for financial gain, which is why I continue to invest in them.

Five reasons why I love ETFs :

  • They are diversified, so they offer less risk than stocks

  • They are traded on stock exchanges, so they are easy to buy and sell

  • They offer the potential for financial gain

  • They pay dividends

  • They are a good investment for long-term goals

Is crypto is a good investment?

I think longer-term Bitcoin will end up being the best performer and maybe the only survivor. It’s digital gold with a built-in scarce supply that cannot be increased. Crypto is not for everyone and I still think stocks are the best investment for most people.

Here are three reasons I like Bitcoin:

  • It has a built-in scarce supply

  • It is digital gold

  • It has the potential to be a good investment for long-term goals
